The Women's Center's events provide opportunities for University community members to engage with a range of issue as they relate to women and gender in our world, both locally and globally.

As part of the Diversity and Advocacy Program, the Women’s Center sponsors numerous Signature Events that address gender issues, showcase women’s leadership, and celebrate women’s accomplishments. These events provide opportunities for University community members to engage with a range of issues as they relate to women and gender in our world, both locally and globally. All of the signature events are organized by students who intern in the Women’s Center. They gain firsthand experience in University event planning with responsibilities that include inviting guest speakers, connecting with co-sponsoring organizations and departments, and creating public service announcements.
