The Women's Center's interns are a diverse group of students who
play an important and integral role in the Center's events and programs.
Interns and Staff
Interning at the U.Va. Women's Center gives students hands-on
experience developing skills that will be useful to them in the wide
variety of fields they pursue after graduation. The professional
quality of their work greatly enriches the Center’s operations and
programs. In addition to fulfilling a year-long internship with a
Women's Center program, Women's Center interns are expected to take the
3-hour fall semester course "Women, Peace and Justice" (EDLF 5500),
taught by Women's Center faculty member Jen Merritt, as part of their
Women's Center experience.
