Alex is a graduate student currently completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology, and recently won the Society of Clinical Psychology (SCP) and Council of University Directors of Clinical Psychology’s (CUDCP) Inaugural Distinguished Student Scientist-Practitioner Award. She identifies as a science-practitioner by integrating treatments backed up by research and science while working with her therapy clients. She is passionate about improving the lives of others and working one-on-one with people struggling with mental health challenges, and is encouraged by her graduate advisor and role model, Bethany Teachman, PhD.
