1.    What brought you to the Women's Center?

Throughout my first year, I had heard incredible things about the services that the Women's Center offered, as well as the supportive and inspirational community present there. One day one of my close friends who is also heavily involved with the Women’s Center mentioned that they had an internship program, and after scrolling through the website and talking to some of the amazing people at the center, I immediately knew that I wanted to become involved! 

2.    What other organizations are you involved with at UVA?

Currently I am mainly involved with the Honor Committee and GirlUp.

3.    If you could describe your intern team in 3 words, what would they be?

Undaunted, warmhearted, and empathetic 

4.    What is your favorite memory of UVA thus far?

Even though I don’t think I can choose an absolute favorite memory, I think one of my happiest times was during this past Lighting of the Lawn. It was such a joyous event spent with some of my closest friends, and the perfect depiction of how UVA is such a tight-knit community despite having over 16,000 students. 

5.    What does leadership mean to you? 

To me, leadership is about finding the perfect balance of leading as well as facilitating and making sure that everyone within your group feels respected and supported!
        
6.    What is your guilty pleasure?

I wouldn’t necessarily call it a ‘guilty pleasure’ but one of my favorite things in the world is sitting down in a cafe and taking the first sip of a cup of coffee!
