1.     What brought you to the Women's Center?

I found the Women’s Center in the fall of my first year when I was trying to find something similar to the social justice and women’s rights work that I was involved in during high school. Unfortunately, the application was not open at that time, so I wrote down the date and remembered to apply a couple months later!

2.     What is your favorite memory of UVA thus far?

My favorite memories of UVA are the small moments. I love watching the Bachelor with my roommates, going on long walks with my big in my sorority, and playing in ultimate frisbee tournaments with my teammates!

3.    Who is a woman that inspires you? 

My mom (Heather Taylor)! She is the most influential woman in my life not only because she raised me, but because she is so strong and always donating her time and energy to different causes (and she never gets thanks for her work!) My mom inspired me to become a lawyer and I wouldn’t be the woman I am without her :)

4.    What is one thing you do after a stressful day?

I am a big fan of eating Ben and Jerry’s after a long day!

5.    How does your work for the Women's Center motivate you?

As a Social Media/Marketing intern, I am always impressed when I get the opportunity to promote another amazing event that the Women’s Center is hosting! I love promoting events and content because the Women’s Center has content and events for people of all genders, and I want everyone at UVA to take advantage of our resources!

6.    What’s a podcast or TV show that’s grabbed your attention recently?

I love to re-watch TV shows, so you will catch me watching Psych or Gilmore Girls over and over!
