(re)present is a juried arts and writing competition for the UVA community to generate the images, words and other creations that you see as (re)presenting YOU.

For much of the history of UVA, it was plausible to represent THE student with a single image. It’s time to (re)present what we mean when we say “UVA student” today.Notable judges will select winners of $500, $250, and $100 awards in four submission categories (2D, 3D, digital/film, writing). All participants receive (re)present merchandise and entry into drawings for other prizes. Select submissions will be exhibited in Spring 2021.
