Students and activists of all ages, join us as Karen Walrond addresses the importance of preserving and accessing joy in challenging times. Seek out the “why” for the social justice work you do and learn the power of spark statements to shape authentic and sustainable engagement with our community’s pressing concerns.

In The Lightmaker's Manifesto, Walrond offers a powerful formula. Name the skills, values, and actions that bring us joy. Identify the causes that spark our empathy and concern. And then put it all together to change the world.

Books will be available for purchase.
