What brought you to the Women's Center?
The tight-knit supportive community. The faculty and staff are incredibly supportive and have been great mentors!
What is your favorite memory at UVA so far?
So hard to pick one, I would say last fall there was one Saturday that was just perfect, one of my favorite days in my life. The weather was great, I had a new outfit, I was hanging out listening to live music with my best friends. Every Saturday is my favorite day at UVA!
Who is a woman that inspires you and why?
A cliche answer but my mom. After my dad passed away in 2021 she showed such resilience and strength that inspires me to emulate that passion.
What is one thing you do after a stressful day?
Be outside! I sit, walk, or run outside listening to a good playlist!
How does your work at the Women's Center motivate you?
I fell most connected through the programs at the Women's Center with the UVA community. Strengthening the ties to the community of Charlottesville is incredibly motivating.
What is a podcast/TV show/movie/book/song that's grabbed your attention recently?
I am a sucker for the show 'A Million Little Things,' it is so well done! 10/10 recommend but you will cry!
