1. What brought you to the Women's Center?
I wanted to get out of the UVA bubble and engage with people locally in Charlottesville, and I knew the Women's Center would allow me to do so in various ways. So, I decided to apply to be an intern with the Legal Clinic team and was thankfully accepted.
2. What has been your favorite memory at UVA so far?
The Wahoo Welcome concert was my first year when Jack Harlow performed. I was at the very front of the row in the amphitheater with my roommate and the energy was unmatched. It was honestly the best way I could have been introduced to UVA.
3. Who is a woman that inspires you and why?
My mom. She is truly the most compassionate and resilient woman that I know. I hope to be half the woman she is.
4. What is one thing you do after a stressful day?
I love TV, so watching an episode of one of my favorite shows always does the job.
5. How does your work at the Women's Center motivate you?
Being able to see the tangible impact that our team has on individuals is incredibly rewarding. It continuously reminds me that every person can make a difference, even if it is a small one, in someone's life.
6. What is a podcast/TV show/movie/book/song that's grabbed your attention recently?
Silo on Apple TV.
