What brought you to YWLP?
I wanted to learn more about mentorship and counseling techniques!
Have you had a mentor that impacted you? Or has being a mentor made an impact on how you see yourself?
My biggest mentors growing up were definitely my cheerleading coaches in my all star program. My coaches taught me to be confident, push myself, and find strength through teamwork.
Who is a woman that inspires you and why?
A woman who inspires me is my Grandma—she emulates compassion and independence.
What is something you and your little have bonded over?
My little, Aubrie, and I have bonded over our love of animals! Aubrie loves to share stories about her pet dogs with me, and I share stories about the horses I ride on UVA’s riding team.
What is one thing you do after a stressful day?
After a stressful day I love to read whatever book i’m currently working on or catch up on a tv show!
