Quiet study spaces

We have several spaces around the Center that are outfitted to serve students' needs. These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis, unless they have been reserved by Women's Center staff. Just check the schedule posted beside each door.

Lower Level Spaces

Cozy space with indirect natural light and flexible arrangement of couches and chairs - seats 8-10.


Maker Space

Maker space

Natural light, modular tables and chairs, and a large white board make this space suitable for quiet group or individual study - seats 10-16.


Upper Level Spaces

Natural light and modular tables and chairs make this space suitable for quiet group or individual study - seats 8-16.

Individual or small group study space with 4-person table and a small white board.


And don't forget to visit our Room to Breathe, a cozy space where you can relax and take a break from meetings and studying.

  • At the Women’s Center, we have accessible, single-stall, all-gender bathrooms stocked with tampons and pads. One of the bathrooms on our upper level has a diaper-changing station. UVA’s map of gender-neutral bathrooms is here.
