1.    What brought you to the Women's Center?
I saw the Women's Center booth at the student activities fair my first year and immediately knew that I wanted to get involved!

2.    What is your favorite memory of UVA thus far?
Going to Lighting of the Lawn with my friends first-year is probably one of my favorite UVA memories. There was something so surreal about the moment -- I couldn't believe my first semester at UVA was already coming to an end.

3.    Who is a woman that inspires you?
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. AOC is a trailblazer not only in terms of the progressive policy she has proposed, but also in the sense that she has brought much needed representation for women of color in US government and is an unapologetic advocate for the most neglected groups in our country.

4.    What is one thing you do after a stressful day?
I like to unwind with a cup of tea and an episode of one of my favorite shows - this combo really never fails to disappoint!

5.    How does your work for the Women's Center motivate you?
I think social justice work can be daunting and disheartening when you feel like you're not doing enough or you're not helping everyone all at once. My work for the Women's Center has taught me that change often comes on a small scale, and if we can teach even just one person how to create a more supportive environment for survivors of gender violence, that's a win. I'm also motivated by all the beautiful Women's Center employees and interns that are so passionate about the critical work they do.

6.    What’s a podcast or TV show that’s grabbed your attention recently?
I've been really into Arrested Development recently!
