More or Less
More or Less, is our e-news, designed with our UVA undergraduate students in mind! We know you're eager to make the most of your college years and you have many demands on your time. Some weeks you really can make the most of all that UVA has to offer. Other times, you are only looking for ways to fortify yourself for coursework and other commitments that are looming larger than usual on your calendar. More or Less is your guide to your options for doing little more or a little less over the next couple of weeks. As you plan what you want and need to do, look for More or Less on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month throughout the school year to stay informed about the events, opportunities, and resources that are here for you at the Women's Center and around Grounds.
History of Women at UVA
The University’s history has long been told as a man’s history while the women who were here remained hidden in plain sight. We were proud to collaborate with colleagues and the alumni community to build a digital resource, launched in 2020, that you can use to browse the history of women at UVA from anywhere. Available online (or on the App Store or Google Play) among UVA's Walking Tours of Grounds, the History of Women at UVA virtual tour is suitable for use anywhere and can also serve as a guide to key locations when you are at UVA.
Guest Speaker Recordings
Recordings of guest speakers hosted for our annual Beverly Cobble Rodriguez Lectureship and Community MLK Celebration event are on our Max Media page.
